Q: I have an IN-5907 that does not respond anymore and does not get a DHCP address even after factory reset. My last idea now was to try to install the firmware via the SD card - if that is possible. Is it possible with SD card? How?
A: Yes. You can download and unpack the firmware from our download area. The PKG file has to be renamed to restore.pkg and put on the SD card (into the root directory - not into a subfolder).
For Full HD cameras you have to shut down the camera (disconnected from power), then insert the SD card and boot the camera.
For HD cameras, the SD card must be inserted while the camera is running.
Do not disconnect the camera from the power supply afterwards! Let it run until the update is done.
