Q: What is the filesize a HD camera records?
A: I have two 5905HD both are equal in resolution. Nevertheless, has 10 minutes of video recording in one 20mb and the other 90mb. Which is a big difference.
If the video and picture settings of both cameras are identical, it is because of the h.264 encoding of the video stream. This is the more effective the less details (colors / brightness levels) are present in the image. That If you direct one camera against a uniformly lit white wall and the other on a green area where virtually every pixel between two video images changes, you will see an extreme difference in file size.
