Infrared LEDs Visibility

Q: Are the IR LEDs visible?

A: The IR LEDs light up slightly reddish and are visible in the dark. On the models IN-5907 HD and IN-6012 HD it is possible to exchange them with invisible 940mm IR LEDs, but these bring a weaker night vision and the conversion is only appropriate for special applications.
