Deactivate IR LEDs

Q: Is it possible to deactivate the IR LEDs when using an external spot light?

A: Yes, but a cable has to be pulled off the board. By disabling the IR LEDs in the web interface of the camera, the camera switches directly to the day mode, in which the camera can no longer see the light of your external IR headlight:
