Alarmserver to link your Cameras Alarm
Q: I have several INSTAR cameras in operation. Now only one 9020 has an alarm siren. Is it possible that when the motion sensor of the other 9020 is triggered, the alarm of both cameras is activated?
A: Yes, the easiest way to do this is via the alarm server of the camera. If you add the IP of the other camera in the alarm server settings of the first camera with the following command:
/param.cgi?cmd=pushhostalarm
an alarm on the first camera would automatically trigger an alarm on the other camera:
