sFTP or FTPS

Q: Does the camera support sFTP or FTPS ?

A: We have the IN-9008 Full HD Weather Camera in operation and use it for the transmission of weather images. Now we would like to load every half an hour a current image on the server and publish on the homepage.

Our web host is 1 & 1 and this only allows the SFTP protocol. Can it be that the 1080p cameras does not support SFTP?

Full HD cameras support SSL encrypted file transfer - FTPS, the equivalent of the HTTPS used to access the web interface. sFTP is an unencrypted file transfer (FTP) over an encrypted SSH tunnel - this is a feature that the cameras do not support.
