Q: Is the tilt and swivel mechanism really quiet - do not want to scare my child in the nursery?
A: You can hear the panning (as well as the switching on / off of the IR lighting) in the iPad app, but not in the room. To the IR lighting ... the "red eye on the cabinet" (the IR LEDs light up red in the dark) initially irritated our little son a little bit at night and is still fascinated. Shut down if you do not want to look straight.
