Disable Night Mode
Q: Can I disable the black&white Night Mode?
A: Can someone tell me how to disable the day-night mode? The IR LEDs can be deactivated. Nevertheless, the 8015 camera switches to night mode and the IR cut filter is used.
With the 6014 camera, the IR-Cut filter is removed when the IR LEDs have been deactivated.
The behaviour described has been a very often desired feature in the 720p series - which unfortunately could not be implemented on the hardware side. With Full HD cameras, you can disable the IR LEDs and then use an external IR spotlight.
With the IN-6014 HD, the IRcut filter would have pushed in front of the optics and absorbed the light of the external headlight. This means you have to see that the camera gets enough light to keep it in day mode.
