Software Update
The INSTAR software department is constantly working to improve your experience with our product. You can check the update section from time to time to make sure your system is still up-to-date. You can also check our Download Area to find our newest software and corresponding changelogs.
You can download regular software updates for your camera from download.instar.de. Please use the browse button to set the file path once you downloaded and unzipped the update BIN and click Submit to upload the file to your camera. Use the update function only when the camera is connected to the router by LAN cable!
Firmware Update bei INSTAR FullHD IP Kameras.
Please download the latest firmware for your INSTAR HD camera on the left side and unpack the downloaded ZIP file. You will find an "update.pkg" file in it. Open the web interface of your camera and go there to "Software - Upgrade" and select there the "update.pkg" file, in order to play this on your camera. Confirm the whole thing and wait up to 12 minutes for the update to be completely loaded.

| Firmware Version | Version of the operating system of your camera. Information about a software update can be found HERE. |
| WebUI Version | Version of the web user interface of your camera. Information about a software update can be found HERE. |
| Software is up to date | You will be shown link to the update once a newer version of the camera software becomes available. Please be aware that you have to unzip the update.pkg file from the ZIP container first, before uploading it to your camera! |
